Data Visualization: Introduction to Shiny Web Applications

With the growing interest in interactive web applications for data visualization, the mastery of reactive frameworks, such as Shiny, becomes a valuable skill set in data science and digital humanities. Shiny is the analytical dashboards package created by R Studio, one of the key promoters and developers of R. It allows for rapid prototyping and deployment of a variety of interactive data visualizations.

In my recent workshop, I have introduced the fundamental concepts of reactive framework and basic steps in creating a Shiny web application.

The detail of the workshop (slides and youtube video) can be found in this blog:

Do not hesitate to write me if you have some cool ideas and would like to create visual dynamic applications!
