The HASTAC site is designed to facilitate both the finding of specific content as well as encourage the organized exploration and surfacing of additional content that might be of interest to users.
Search
Use the search box in the site’s header to look for any specific content, anywhere on the site. On the search results page you can also filter and sort your results for further specificity—by user, by content type, by topics or tags—using the sort menu and content filters available in the right sidebar.

On the various sections of the site, you can also filter, search, and browse for content within that section.
- Find Blogs
On the Blogs landing page, you can view all blogs posted on HASTAC by Topics. You can also sort blogs by Trending or Most Recent blog posts.
- Find Groups
On the Groups landing page, you can find groups of interest via searching for keywords or full titles in the “Title field, or filtering groups by Topics.
- Find Organizations
On the Organizations landing page, you can find organizations of interest by searching for keywords or full titles in the “Title field, or filtering groups by Topics.
- Find Events & Opportunities
On the Events & Opportunities landing page, you can filter events and opportunities based on different opportunity types (Events, Jobs and Fellowships, Grants and Funding, Call for Papers), as well as by Topic, Month, and Year.
- Find News
On the News landing page, you can discover the news that is of relevance to you by searching for keywords or full titles in the “Title field, as well as filtering by Tags and Topics.
- Find HASTAC Scholars
On the Meet the Scholars landing page, find a HASTAC Scholar by searching for their name or HASTAC username, you can filter HASTAC Scholars based on their names, filter by the topics each HASTAC Scholar is interested in, and/or view an entire cohort by filtering the Class Year.
- Find Winning Projects
On the Competitions landing page, you can explore past Digital Media and Learning Competitions. You can also explore Digital Media and Learning Competition winning projects based on different categories (Civic Engagement, Classroom, Collaborative Tools, Digital Badges, Games, Global, Mobile, Youth Produced). Moreover, we have also listed recent winning projects!
